Youth Service: DICTIONARY AND LITERACY
The Dictionary and Literacy Committee dynamically heads one of the club’s flagship community projects. This group assists in providing a quality dictionary to all third grade students in the Berthoud/Loveland area. 2015 marks the 17th year for this project. This committee does not have formal meetings. In September of each year teams are formed that will go to each school. The teams are comprised of leaders and helpers. Many of the leaders have delivered to the same school for all 17 years. If you are new to Rotary or just want to try a new committee you will find it very rewarding to deliver dictionaries to third graders!!
