Youth Service: ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

The Loveland Rotary Club prides itself in helping youth in the Thompson School District achieve their goals by providing both Vocational Services Scholarships and Academic Scholarships. Applications for deserving students are submitted by Counselors from each of the Thompson School District High Schools. The Vocational Services Committee selects the Vocational Services Scholarship recipients while the Academic Scholarship Committee selects the academic scholarship recipients based on scholastic achievement, financial need and service to the community. Academic scholarships are provided to students who exemplify outstanding scholastic ability and plan on obtaining a college degree. In 2015 the Loveland Rotary Club awarded six academic scholarships. Award amounts may change at any time depending upon available funds and/or endowment earnings.
