Search for and define worthwhile service projects in our area for the club to pursue. Gain approval from the Board of Directors to implement the project. Organize club membership to perform the project. The Service Committee plans and implements volunteer service projects for the Lander community. Current service projects include efforts to provide food to those in need (e.g., supporting the community meal at the Methodist Church, helping at the food bank, and stocking little food pantries), working in the City's outdoor cleanup projects, carrying out a "Read to Me" program at Gannett Peak Elementary School, providing supplies and equipment for the girls’ home, and supporting various community service organizations. It also is responsible for the club’s international projects. The Committee meets monthly.
